BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina has again been named by Forbes as one of America’s best employers.  

“Earning a spot on the 2023 list of Best-in-State employers shows our commitment to a work environment where employees can grow and excel,” said BlueCross President and CEO Michael Mizeur.  

The rankings were compiled by Forbes and market research firm Statista. Anonymous surveys were sent to 70,000 workers at companies with a minimum of 500 employees in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Participants rated companies on a range of topics, including whether they would recommend their employer to others.

“BlueCross is the only South Carolina-owned and -operated health insurance carrier,” Mizeur said. “We are proud of our employees and the commitment they have for the communities we serve.”
