Reminder: File Federal Employee Program (FEP) Dental Claims Electronically

FEP dental providers can submit claims (837) via clearinghouse with payer ID 402 and receive payments electronically, effective June 19, 2020. This enhancement speeds up claims processing and allows you to view the status of electronically submitted claims in My Insurance ManagerSM (MIM), the BlueCross secure online portal. You will also receive electronic remittance advices.
What This Means To You
You may continue to submit hardcopy dental claims, however, the preferred method to submit is electronically. Claims filed electronically with payer ID 402 will process expeditiously and claims status can be viewed via MIM. You will receive an electronic remittance advice and a hardcopy check for payment.
