BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina Named One of TIME’s Best Private Companies in America

BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina has been named one of America’s Best Private Companies 2026 by TIME.

The inaugural list recognizes 500 privately held companies based on employee satisfaction and company impact. BlueCross’ inclusion reflects employee feedback and the organization’s efforts in areas related to society, knowledge, health and the environment.

Employee satisfaction was evaluated using survey responses from about 217,000 U.S. employees collected over three years. The assessment included recommendations from current and former employees, as well as feedback about company image, workplace culture, working conditions, pay and equality.

Employee satisfaction and company impact received equal weight in determining the final list. This recognition reflects BlueCross’ focus on meeting changing needs and preparing for the future. Being named to the list reinforces the value of attracting and retaining skilled employees who respond to changing customer needs, use technology to help members access care and support communities across South Carolina.
