Electronic Claims Submission
Electronic claims submission is the preferred method for most providers. Claims can be submitted directly to us, through a clearinghouse, or using My Insurance Manager℠. We accept all electronic claim types, including primary, secondary, institutional, dental, and corrected claims.
Electronic filing allows us to begin processing claims immediately, resulting in faster reimbursement compared to paper submissions. It also helps identify errors early, reducing delays and rework.
Electronic Payer IDs
Use the following payer IDs for direct electronic claim submissions to BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina. If you transmit through a clearinghouse, the clearinghouse may require different payer IDs.

*PAI and Blue Solutions Administrators are separate companies that provide third party administration services on behalf of BlueCross.
